About Wimpex

Wimpex (W= Wind, imp= import, ex= export) was established back in 1994 by Peter Wind and incorporated in 1995. From the beginning, the company has been importing mainly work gloves from the Far East and selling them mainly on the German market.

Since 2006, we have had a distribution warehouse in Germany from where a large part of the goods are sourced. In 2013, we entered into a co-operation agreement to distribute BIG Arbeitsschutz's products in the Scandinavian market. With this step, we feel well equipped for the challenges of the future.

We are able to supply a wide range of work gloves, clothing and footwear. We specialise mainly in work gloves, for which we have a wide range for different work areas, industries and needs. We also supply products for the healthcare sector, such as non-slip socks and disposable gloves.

Sikker-Sko.dk, which is an online shop with everything about safety shoes, also belongs to the company Wimpex ApS, which was established in 2017, so we are able to supply a wide range of safety footwear - some even up to size 52.
